Back in 1961 the IBM 7094 was the first mainframe computer to sing a song. The first top 20 hit completely sung by a computer (and not by human voices processed to sound like one) was Cheekah Bow Bow.

The cause was a practical one; the Vengaboys were on tour in the U.S. and the producers wanted to release a single, pronto.
The fantastic four did make it in time for the video shoot that took place in Kopenhagen, Denmark and was made by the same wonderful team that made the video for Shalala lala.
